Electronic Ceramics

Electronic ceramics is a generic term that describes a class of inorganic, non-metallic materials used in the electronics industry.

Although electronic or electroceramic ceramics, including amorphous and singular crystals, generally belong to polycrystalline inorganic solids, encompassing randomly oriented crystals (grains) intimately linked.

This random orientation of small crystals (micrometers) gives rise to the equivalent characteristics of isotropic ceramics in all directions.

The isotropic character can be modified during the operation of sintering at high temperatures or by cooling to room temperature by processing techniques such as hot forming in an electric or magnetic field.
